We turn a banal pollock into an unusual delicacy, easily and simply, in 15 minutes

This is a recipe for those who do not believe that buying and eating pollock is humiliating and indicates only financial problems. I will say more - this way you can cook almost any fish, even not the most noble one, and it will be amazingly tasty.

Ideal for low fat white fish in my opinion.

This concludes the introduction now, let's get down to business.

We take:

  • Fish - into two portions (each portion is different, therefore I do not indicate the mass);
  • 250 milliliters of cream;
  • 50 milliliters of milk;
  • 2 teaspoons of honey;
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder (not pure curry, but curry)
  • A couple of tablespoons of lemon juice;
  • A small, mild onion;
  • Clove of garlic;
  • A little flour or starch - thicken the sauce if necessary;
  • Ground black pepper (preferably freshly ground), salt and a little sugar - but everything is to your taste;
  • frying oil - butter or vegetable oil of your choice. If you are using butter, you probably won't need to thicken the sauce (it will thicken it).

How we cook:

We clean the slave, wash it thoroughly, dry it with paper towels, season it with salt, a drop of pepper, a little curry powder and sprinkle it with lemon juice (also a little bit).

We send it to a frying pan with hot oil, and at this time we pass the garlic through a press and cut the onion into small cubes.

When a fried crust appears on the fish, remove it from the pan and send onion and garlic to what is left after frying. We fry for a couple of minutes.

Then add cream and milk to the onion and garlic, and when it all boils, we send the rest - honey, dill, curry, lemon juice. If the sauce is liquid, add a little flour or starch. We actively interfere. The sauce should not curl, honey will not.

Then we try, if anything, we melt the taste with sugar, salt and pepper to taste, and turn off the heating. Put the fish in the sauce (this will make it hot again), and after a few minutes you can serve it. Rice goes well as a side dish.

By the way, the preparation of this dish takes a maximum of 15 minutes.
