I bring to your attention just a gorgeous recipe for cooking pork in orange sauce, my favorite. This dish is so successful, tasty and chic in appearance that it will easily become your favorite, and at any family feast. It can be prepared for New Year, Christmas, Easter, not to mention the birthdays of relatives. If you have not yet decided on a hot one for the New Year's table, be sure to bookmark this recipe, it will come in handy for sure, and guests will be wildly delighted with the appearance and taste of this meat.
Ingredients:
Pork loin on the bone - 1200 g
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
For the sauce:
Orange - 2 pcs.
White wine vinegar - 2 tablespoons
Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
Liquid honey - 1 tablespoon
Garlic - 1 clove
Hot sauce - to taste
Salt - a pinch
Ground black pepper - to taste
How to cook:
Let's prepare products according to the list. Wash the pork loin under running water, wipe it dry with paper towels. We do the same with oranges and a peeled garlic clove.
Squeeze two large oranges into a saucepan. Add vinegar, soy sauce, runny honey, chopped garlic clove, hot sauce, a generous pinch of salt and black pepper to it.
Put the saucepan on the fire, as soon as it boils, turn the heat down and reduce the sauce by half. It should be moderately thick and very tasty.
Heat the pan, put the pork in it. Fry on all sides over high heat, including the end sides. Thus, we will seal the meat juices inside the piece and the meat will end up juicy.
Transfer the pork loin to a baking dish and sprinkle with good quality coarse sea salt on all sides and pepper. Using a silicone brush, brush the meat generously with orange sauce on all sides.
Put to bake in an oven preheated to 190 degrees in the top and bottom heating mode for 20 minutes. After a while, lower the temperature to 180 degrees, brush the pork with the sauce again and bake for another 20 minutes.
Then reduce the temperature to 170 degrees and repeat the same 3 times. Total: the meat will be in the oven for 100 minutes.
Remove the cooked pork from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Then cut it into portions with a large sharp knife on the bone, put on orange circles and serve. Guests will find a garnish for this meat on the festive table themselves.
