Caramelized Pear Pie

For some reason, baked goods with apples are more popular than with pears. I love apples very much, but pear pies turn out to be more aromatic, juicy, more interesting in taste. Pears are wonderfully combined with seemingly incompatible foods: cheeses, rosemary, cloves, pink peppers.

I bring to your attention a delicious pie with poppy seeds and caramelized pear. Creamy caramel, juicy fruit, moist sponge cake, poppy seeds that give baked goods an unusual texture - all this will definitely satisfy the taste of any sweet tooth.

The most delicious pastries come from seasonal fruits, but a decent option can be found in stores during the winter.

Ingredients:

For the test:

Flour - 170 grams

Eggs - 3 pcs.

Sugar - 140 grams

Poppy - 50 grams

Baking powder - 1.5 tsp

Cinnamon to taste

Butter - 200 grams

Additionally:

Pears - 500 grams

Vegetable oil for the form - 1 tbsp.

Sugar for caramel - 2 tablespoons

Butter for caramel - 2 tablespoons

Course of action:

Step 1 of 12

Prepare the required foods. White sugar can be replaced with cane sugar. Sift flour beforehand.

Step 2 of 12

Peel the pears and cut into slices. They should not be too thin so that they retain their shape during frying.

Step 3 of 12

Melt the butter and sugar in a frying pan. Bring the mixture to a boil over low heat. Stirring continuously, wait until the sugar dissolves and the mass acquires the consistency of caramel.

Step 4 of 12

Place prepared pear slices. In order not to violate their integrity, it is better not to interfere, but to shake the pan slightly. Each piece of pear should be completely covered in caramel.

Step 5 of 12

While the caramelized fruit is cooling, you can make the dough. To do this, beat soft butter with sugar. Add eggs one at a time, while continuing to beat.

Step 6 of 12

Combine dry dough ingredients in a bowl: poppy seeds, flour, cinnamon and baking powder. Mix. If you don't like cinnamon, don't add.

Step 7 of 12

Combine egg-oil and dry mixtures. You can add pieces of pears left after the main cut to the dough.

Step 8 of 12

Grease a baking dish with a small amount of vegetable oil and sprinkle with flour, shake off the excess. Lay out the dough. Smooth by knocking the form on the work surface.

Step 9 of 12

Spread the caramelized pear pieces on top of the dough. If caramel remains, spread it over the pear pattern.

Bake pear pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Willingness to check with a splinter.

Step 10 of 12

This pear and poppy seed cake has unique properties. It warms and soothes. Perhaps this is due to the spice and caramel flavor. But this is exactly what is needed on long winter evenings.

Step 11 of 12

Warm each other with good, word, action, tea with pie.

Step 12 of 12

Enjoy your tea!
