The symbol of the upcoming 2020 is the White Rat. As expected, the treats preferred by the ruling totem animals should be present on the table. The rat is curious, so non-standard solutions in serving and preparing dishes will attract its attention. I propose to pamper the hostess of the year with a salad, decorated in the form of a piece of cheese, and supplement it with decorative elements - mice.

Ingredients:

Chicken breast fillet - 300 grams

Canned pineapple - 200 grams

Mayonnaise - 100 grams

Cheese - 100 grams

Chicken egg - 2 pcs.

Quail egg - 5 pcs.

Salt - 1 pinch

Ground pepper mixture - 1 pinch

Garlic - 1 clove

Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

Coriander - 15 grains

I prepare the necessary products. Pre-boil the eggs until cooked and cool, pouring cold water.

Pre-cook chicken breast fillet. I season it with salt and pepper. Leave to marinate for 15 minutes.

Then I heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. I fry the meat from all sides until golden brown. Turn off the heat, cover the pan with a lid and leave for 15 minutes.

I cool the fillet, wrap it in foil and put it in the refrigerator for 1-3 hours.

To decorate the salad I use a split cake ring with a diameter of 24 cm. I fold the foil in several layers and fold the triangle. I fix it inside the form. I install the structure on the dish.

I cut the chilled chicken breast fillet into cubes.

Drain the syrup from the canned pineapple and cut it into the same size and shape as the meat.

I cover the salad on top with cling film and put it in a cool place so that it is soaked.

I use slices of cheese for decoration. I divide them in half according to the height of the salad and cut holes with the help of improvised means, for example, a bottle cap.
