Cottage cheese - 250 g.

Sugar - 100 g.

Salt - a pinch

Soda - 0.5 tsp.

Chicken egg - 2 pcs.

Wheat flour - 250 g

Vegetable oil for frying - 400 g.

Powdered sugar - for serving

To make fried curd donuts in butter according to this recipe, prepare the foods according to the list for it. Absolutely any cottage cheese is suitable, from store to homemade with a high percentage of fat.

Beat eggs into a clean, dry bowl and add granulated sugar.

Use a mixer and turn the contents of the container into a fluffy homogeneous mass. The egg mixture should whiten noticeably and increase in volume.

Then add the curd. If the dairy product is too grainy, rub it through a sieve or interrupt with a hand blender.

Stir again to combine the ingredients.

Sift the prescribed amount of wheat flour along with soda and a pinch of salt through a sieve. Add dry ingredients to the egg-curd mass.

Knead a soft, slightly sticky dough. You may need a little more flour, it will depend on the moisture content of the cottage cheese. But, most importantly, do not add too much of it, otherwise the baking crumb will turn out to be too dense.

Divide the dough into 25 equal portions. With wet palms dipped in cool water, form equal balls weighing about 25 grams from each piece.

In the meantime, prepare deep fat. Pour vegetable oil into a small heavy-bottomed saucepan and heat it well.

Dip the curd blanks in hot butter. Fry them in small portions, as they instantly swell under the influence of temperature. In this case, the fire should be below average, so that the dough has time to bake not only outside, but also inside.

As soon as the balls acquire a beautiful golden color, remove them from the oil with a slotted spoon and transfer them to a plate lined with paper napkins.

Delicious fluffy donuts with cottage cheese are ready. Let them cool completely and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
