I propose a simple recipe for dumplings mixed in water without eggs. It turns out to be gentle and plastic. Easily molded into beautiful pieces. During cooking, they do not break, the filling and meat juice remain inside, as the "shell" does an excellent job with its function. Dumplings from this dough can be cooked immediately or prepared for future use by freezing.

Ingredients:
Water - 1 glass
Wheat flour - 2.5 cups
Salt - 0.5 tsp
Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
Step by step recipe:
To make dumplings without eggs, prepare the listed foods for the recipe.
Pour cold filtered water into a container convenient for kneading, add salt and mix thoroughly until the crystals dissolve.
Then add the sifted wheat flour in portions. Why in parts? Because the amount may differ slightly from that indicated in the ingredients. It depends on the quality of the product and on the manufacturer.
Stir the flour mixture thoroughly after each new portion until the mixture is thick enough. Then transfer it to the table, sprinkled with flour, and knead a soft, but not sticky dough with your hands.
In the center of which, make a small depression and pour in vegetable oil. Continue kneading for another 5-7 minutes without adding flour. The dough should become elastic, like plasticine.
Roll it into a bun and cover with a tea towel. Let it "rest" for 15 minutes.
After the time has passed, the dough will be completely ready for use.
Very beautiful dumplings can be formed from it. To do this, roll out the dough into a thin layer. Then cut out small circles of the desired diameter with a glass, and place in the center meat filling, about 0.5-1 tsp, depending on the size of the cut. Blind the edges to shape the workpiece. Cook the convenience foods in boiling, salted water for about 5 minutes after surfacing.
Dumplings made from such a dough without eggs keep their shape perfectly and do not boil over. They are served hot, for example, with sour cream.
