Crucian carp in sour cream in the oven

Crucian carp is considered a fairly popular fish due to its low cost. But not everyone likes to cook it, because this fish is not very easy to clean from scales, while it has a large number of small bones.

Usually crucian carp is baked or fried whole. It turns out very tasty in sour cream. The meat of this fish has a sweet taste, and in combination with sour sour cream, you get just an ideal balanced taste. The fish carcass can be baked raw or pre-fried in a pan for just a few minutes to achieve a golden brown crust.

Ingredients:

Crucian carp - 1 pc. (500 gr.)

Flour - 1 tbsp.

Sour cream - 200 gr.

Water - 50 ml.

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Parsley - 20 gr.

Salt to taste

Ground pepper - to taste

Garlic - 2 teeth

Lemon - for serving

How to cook:

Prepare all the foods on the list. For baking, you can use several small crucians or one large carcass.

First of all, remove the large scales from the crucian carp. To do this, you can use a special fish cleaner or a regular knife.

Then remove the guts from the carcass by cutting the belly with a knife. Cut off the gills and tail. If the whole crucian carp is placed in a baking dish, then the tail can be left.

After cleaning, wash the fish well under running water outside and inside, blot the moisture with a napkin.

Sprinkle the crucian carp with salt and pepper, bread in flour (shake off the excess).

Heat the pan to a peak, pour in 1 tbsp. oils. Lay the breaded crucian carp on a hot surface. Grill over high heat for 1 minute on each side. He should get a golden brown crust on top. You can also use an electric grill or a grill pan for this purpose.

Transfer the fish to a heat-resistant container. Peel the head of the onion, cut it into large rings or feathers, lay it at the foot and on top of the crucian carp.

Prepare sour cream filling at the same time. Dilute the sour cream a little with water, add salt and chopped garlic. Rinse the parsley, chop finely. Combine greens with sour cream, stir.

Pour the sour cream sauce over the fish. Send the form to the preheated oven. Bake for the next 20 minutes. During the cooking process, you can pour the sauce over the fish several times.
