Instead of the traditional side dish of mashed potatoes with cutlets or meatballs, we prepare a delicious and original roll from the same products. It is served both hot and chilled - in wide slices.

Ingredients:

Jacket potatoes - 8 pcs.

Egg - 1 pc.

Minced chicken - 400 g

Vegetable oil - 40 ml

Salt, hot pepper - to taste

To bake a potato roll with minced chicken or other meat at home, take the foods on the list. If you boil the potatoes in their uniforms in advance and peel them, then the time for everything else will take half as much. For a roll, I advise you to cook potatoes in their uniforms - then the mashed potatoes get density, viscosity, rich aroma and does not have wateriness.

If desired, add onions, garlic, all sorts of spices, mushrooms to the filling. If you don't want chicken, use minced pork, beef, platter.

So, after boiling, we peel the tubers (it's easier if you pour it over with cold water, after boiling water, in contrast to temperatures, the shell cracks and is easier to remove). Knead the potatoes, season with salt and pepper or just salt, drive in one large egg and mix until smooth.

Be sure to cover the sheet of foil with vegetable oil (generously so that the roll of potatoes with meat does not stick). Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the oiled surface, in the form of a rectangle, evenly thick over the entire area.

Cover with minced chicken, sprinkle with spices. We also stretch the minced meat evenly, without tearing the bottom layer of potatoes.

Raise the foil along the length of the workpiece and roll it up to the middle - we try to turn one edge rather tightly / tightly.

Then we repeat the action from the opposite side - we form a long roll, lightly ram the shell.

We close the foil, transfer the semi-finished product to a baking sheet. We put in a preheated oven and bake for about half an hour at a temperature of 190 degrees. For the last 5-10 minutes we dry and charred, tearing apart the packaging.

If the roll is damaged, do not be afraid to restore the shape with a spatula and then brown it. Remember, the product remains delicate, proceed with care.
