The original and delicious salad "Fish in the Pond" will decorate the festive table and will cheer up the guests with its funny design. Corresponding to the name of the dish, the top layer is decorated like a reservoir with fish tails sticking out vertically.

Ingredients:
Jacket potatoes - 2 pcs.
Sprats in oil - 160 g
Onions - 0.5 pcs.
Cheese - 100 g
Egg - 1 pc.
Mayonnaise - 70 g
Salt, hot pepper - to taste
Greens - for decoration
Carrots - 2 pcs.
Step by step recipe:
To prepare the "Fish in the Pond" salad, take the products from the list. Boil the potatoes in their skins in advance, as well as the carrots and eggs. Cool it down. Then the assembly time will take a minimum. There is only cutting and sequential laying of products in layers mixed with mayonnaise as an impregnation.
Place the potatoes first at the bottom of a suitable container. After cleaning, cut the cold tubers into cubes. Season with salt and ground hot pepper if necessary.
Top with mayonnaise. Also set the impregnation dosage as you wish. The salad can be either moderately soaked, less nutritious, or very fatty / mayonnaise.
Pour onion chopped into cubes onto the potato "pillow".
If you think that the onion is too sharp, spicy, then chop it and put it in water for 10-15 minutes, in water with vinegar or water with lemon. Then discard on a sieve, drain off excess liquid. In addition, sweet, juicy, salad varieties are suitable for this salad.
We catch some of the fish from the jar and knead with a fork. We leave several copies intact to decorate our snack. Cover the onion layer with fish crushed to mush.
Three thin shavings, boiled and peeled carrots. We distribute it next - apply mayonnaise, spread.
Decide for yourself whether you need spices at this stage.
Sprinkle with grated hard cheese on top. Can be mixed with crumbled egg.
We start up half an egg, whole sprats, branches of greenery for decoration - we imitate coastal vegetation, floating lilies, fish jumping in a pond.
Before serving, we keep the multi-layered Fish in the Pond salad on the refrigerator shelf. For final impregnation, 30 minutes is sufficient.
