To make homemade shortbread cookies with margarine, pick the foods listed.
An important plus of the recipe is that the dough piece can be wrapped with foil or parchment and frozen. Then use immediately before the desired tea party.
Knead the shortcrust pastry by hand or using a processor with a knife attachment. Both options are simple and hassle-free. All components are quickly joined together to the desired ductility.
So, first we combine granulated sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolk separated from the protein.
Add a pinch of salt, margarine pieces (cold or room temperature). If it is very hard, grate with shavings.
Pour in flour in parts. Grind until oiled crumb (streusel) is formed, then knead thoroughly. Add flour and bring to uniformity, density.
