From the series "Day to Salary". Delicious beetroot caviar. I like it not only to me, but also to my husband. I cook often because it's delicious.
I use boiled beets for this caviar. You can bake in the oven.
I clean it and rub it on a coarse grater.
Chop the onion finely and fry in vegetable oil until transparent. I mix constantly.
I add a little sugar - it tastes better this way.
Then I add grated beets, tomato paste and water to the onion. But I often add brine (cucumber, cabbage or tomato) instead of water.
I mix and carcass for 10-15 minutes.
Tasty both hot and cold. And as a side dish, as an appetizer, and as an independent dish in the post.
In the video below, there is another recipe for delicious toast with onions. Two years ago, these two dishes cost me 35 rubles (I remember, because I indicated it under the video). It was April 2018. It's even interesting to calculate how much it costs today))

• Beets - 2-3 pcs.
• Onion - 1 pc.
Sugar - 1 tsp
• Tomato paste - 2 tbsp.
• Water (or pickle from tomatoes) - 100 ml
• Ground black pepper
• Greens
• Salt
