Moreover, its preparation does not require a huge amount of products, most of them can always be found in your kitchen. Puff pastry is a real lifesaver for the modern housewife. Be sure to have a package of this semi-finished product in your refrigerator. And then unexpected guests will never take you by surprise.
Today we will prepare a dessert in the form of flowers from frozen puff yeast-free dough and a couple of apples. At the exit, you get five pieces of cakes of a fairly large size. If you wish, you can make them smaller.

Ingredients:
Large apples - 2 pcs.
Yeast-free puff pastry - 400 grams
Granulated sugar - 4 tablespoons
Ground cinnamon - to taste
Butter - 2 tablespoons
Lemon - 0.5 pcs.
Course of action:
To bake roses from puff pastry with apples, I prepare the necessary products.
I mix sugar with cinnamon. If you want, add spices to your taste or do without them altogether. You can use cane sugar instead of white.
Melt the butter in the microwave for 15 seconds. I defrost the frozen puff pastry.
I dry my apples, cut them lengthwise into two parts and cut out a core with seeds. Cut into thin slices. I put them in a bowl and add lemon juice. Pour boiling water over and leave for 10 minutes until softened.
After the apples, carefully, so as not to damage the integrity, I transfer to a sieve to remove moisture.
I roll out the dough into a rectangle on the work surface, sprinkled with a small amount of flour. The layer thickness is approximately 3 mm. I cut the dough into strips 8-9 cm wide. For smaller roses, cut it down to 5-7 cm.
Grease the dough with melted butter.
Sprinkle the strips with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar on top and spread the apple slices along the top edge, slightly protruding beyond it. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the fruit pieces.
I wrap the bottom edge of the dough on top of the apples and roll the filled strips into rolls.
Grease the resulting roses on top with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
I cut the parchment paper into 10x10 cm squares. I place a layered flower in the center of each and transfer the "constructions" to a baking dish for muffins and muffins. In this case, you can use ready-made paper corrugated molds.
I bake cakes in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 45 minutes. To avoid burning apples, cover the tin with foil 15 minutes after the start of baking.
Before serving, I cool the pastries and free them from forms.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and decorate with mint sprigs.
