Packaged cereals are very easy to prepare. Cooking rice in bags is free of the hassle, but there are still nuances you need to know in order to get the perfect side dish. The packaging is made of environmentally friendly material with small holes along the entire perimeter. It is these holes that allow the cereal to absorb the required amount of water during cooking, while not losing its nutritional value. Rice cooked using this technology does not stick together, always turns out to be crumbly, does not stick to the bottom of the container, does not require constant stirring.
Ingredients:
Round rice in a bag - 1 bag (100 g)
Water - 1 liter.
Salt to taste
How to cook:
Prepare everything you need according to the list.
Place a container with plenty of water on the fire. After boiling, throw in the salt.
Take a bag of rice, be sure to check its integrity. There is no need to rinse, as the groats have already been processed in production. Dip a bag of cereals into boiling water. The liquid must completely cover it.
Cook the cereals for 15 minutes over medium heat. The water should boil slowly. The container can be covered with a lid, leaving a gap for steam to escape.
After cooking, transfer the bag to a colander or sieve so that all excess liquid is glass. After cooking, rice does not need rinsing either.
Cool slightly. Then cut the bag with a knife to remove the rice.
Transfer it to a container and then use it as directed.
Rice can be cooked in casseroles / salads or served as a side dish with oil.
