This easy-to-make fresh cucumber snack can be a lifesaver for you, especially if guests are on your doorstep. All the ingredients that make up the salad are always in the locker of any housewife, so it won't be difficult for you to prepare it. The appetizer is ideal for many spirits and is very popular with men.
Ingredients:
- Greenhouse cucumber - 500 g
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- White wine vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Hot pepper - to taste
- Salt - pinch
- Ch.m. pepper - taste
- Parsley - a few twigs
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - optional
Prepare all the necessary foods according to the list. Wash cucumbers, hot peppers and parsley under running water. Pat dry with paper towels.
Cut off the ponytails and cut each cucumber in half lengthwise. Scrape the core out with a pointed teaspoon. Soft seeds will release a lot of water during pickling, but we don't need it.
In a convenient deep bowl, combine the soy sauce, white wine vinegar, and sesame oil. If the oil is too fragrant for you, you can add only half of it, and replace the second part with refined sunflower.
Add a pinch of sea salt and ground black pepper, add hot pepper to taste, mix everything well. Many people like to add some fresh or granulated garlic.
Cut the cucumbers into thin slices, 3-4 millimeters thick, and transfer to the marinade. Stir and marinate for 30-40 minutes or longer. Stir the salad from time to time so that all the slices marinate evenly.
Before serving, drain the marinade, add chopped fresh parsley to the cucumbers. Sprinkle with lightly toasted sesame seeds. Mix everything well again.
Serve Korean Cucumber Salad as an appetizer with any meat dish. Ideal for garnish boiled rice or mashed potatoes. Fried potatoes will also be very helpful.
