Juicy canapes with salmon can be created both for a snack on weekdays and for serving on a festive table. It is believed that this dish is for "one bite" - small sandwiches filled with appetizer tartlets, turrets of products. In any case, canapes are ideal for table decoration, as they combine various ingredients that are in harmony with each other in taste and color.
You can use lightly salted or pickled salmon, served on slices of black or rye bread with vegetable slices, on halves of boiled chicken eggs or cubes of avocado, cucumber. When combined with tomatoes, fish loses some of their flavor and aroma, but cherry tomatoes are an exception.
Remember that guests or family will ask for supplements, so keep half or even the same amount of the ingredients you need in the refrigerator - just in case!
Ingredients:
- Lightly salted salmon - 150 g
- Avocado - 0.5 pcs.
- Red onion - 0.5 pcs.
- Rye bread - 2 slices (40 g)
- Leaf lettuce - 2 sheets.
- Sour cream of any fat content - 2 tbsp.
- Black pepper - 2 pinches
Prepare food. Buy either a rye baguette or a small block of bread so that the halves of the slice are just for "one bite".
Cut the baguette into slices and cut the bread slices diagonally in half or horizontally as desired. Lubricate them with sour cream of any fat content or any other white sauce, but not garlic, so that it does not interrupt the taste of red fish.
Rinse the lettuce leaves, pat dry with paper towels and cut in half vertically. Place on sandwiches. Cut lightly salted or pickled salmon into slices and place it on the other edge of the bread base.
Peel and seed the avocado. Cut half of it into half rings and add the slices to the red fish.
If you do not plan to eat the prepared dish right away, then be sure to sprinkle the avocado with lemon juice, otherwise it will darken and take on an unattractive look.
Cut the peeled and washed half of the red onion into half rings and place over the avocado slices.
Don't forget to garnish the salmon canapes with fresh herbs. Ordinary dill goes well with red fish! Serve the dish immediately with any drinks: alcoholic or not. Sandwiches go well with a glass of white wine.
