Korean pickled cucumbers: guests don't leave me alone until they know the recipe for these snacks

I would like to bring to your attention a quick, easy to prepare and very tasty appetizer made from ordinary fresh cucumbers. If you cook these cucumbers and put them in front of the guests, they will be swept off the table in a matter of minutes, and you will not be left alone until they know the recipe. This appetizer is perfect for all strong drinks, so men simply adore it. Be sure to cook, you will definitely like it.

Ingredients:

Cucumbers - 700 g

Carrots - 100 g

Salt - 1.5 tsp

Sugar - 2-3 tsp

White wine vinegar - 2 tablespoons

Lean oil - 3 tablespoons

Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons

Hot pepper - to taste

Ch.m. pepper - taste

Garlic - optional

Seasoning for Korean carrots - 1 tablespoon

To make Korean style pickles, prepare all the required foods from the list. Peel the carrots, wash under running water along with cucumbers.

On a special grater, grate the carrots with thin strips, put in a deep bowl. Sprinkle with a generous pinch of sugar, remember it lightly with your hands, set it aside.

Remove the tails on the cucumbers and cut them into 1/2-inch slices. Put in a bowl too, sprinkle with all the salt, and leave for at least 30 minutes. Do not skip this step in any case.

After a while, a lot of liquid will be released from the cucumbers, it needs to be drained, the excess salt will also go away with the water.

Now combine the carrots and cucumbers. Sprinkle them with Korean carrot seasoning. If you don't have one, then add coriander (ground or peas). Add the remaining sugar.

I did not add garlic as it is contained in the powder form in the seasoning. If you like the aroma and its pronounced taste, then be sure to put it in the form of gruel.

Now you need to pour in the soy sauce, I use the reduced salt.

Then add white wine vinegar.

Heat lean refined oil in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, but do not bring to a boil, pour into cucumbers.

Mix everything thoroughly, leave to marinate for 2 hours. Stir the salad from time to time so that each cucumber slice marinates evenly.
