Korean-style cauliflower has long been an incredibly popular snack on our tables. It is not necessary to buy it for a lot of money in the market, it is very simple to cook it at home. Such a snack will be as similar as possible to a purchased one, while you will be absolutely sure of the naturalness of all ingredients. Cooking this dish is quite simple and quick, now I will show you.

Ingredients:

Cauliflower - 700 g

Carrots - 70 g

Garlic - 3-4 cloves

Coriander peas - 1 tsp

Peppercorns - 6 pcs.

Parsley (or cilantro) - 5 sprigs

Cloves - 2 pcs.

Water - 600 g

Salt - 1 tablespoon

Sugar - 2 tablespoons

Vinegar 6% - 150 g

Vegetable oil (if desired) - 2 tbsp.

Preparation:

1. Prepare foods from the list. Peel the garlic and carrots. Wash all vegetables and parsley under running water. If you want a spicy snack option, then add hot pepper to the rest of the ingredients.

2. Disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences - the smaller they are, the faster the salad will cook. Put them in a saucepan or stewpan, fill with clean cold water, put on the stove. After boiling, blanch the inflorescences for 2-3 minutes.

3. At this time, grate the carrots for Korean vegetables, chop the garlic in any way convenient for you, chop coarsely fresh herbs. It will be ideal as part of this appetizer, cilantro, but if you do not like it very much, then you can replace it with parsley - it will do quite well and will also be delicious. I cut the garlic into two parts, so it's easier for me to extract it later, but if you want to leave it in the salad, you can cut it into slices or pass it through a press.

4. Use a slotted spoon to catch the blanched cauliflower and place in any plate.

5. Add salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar to the same water.

6. Add all the spices. The coriander peas can be lightly ground to give more flavor and aroma. As soon as the marinade boils and the salt and pepper dissolve, turn off the stove.

7. Send carrots, garlic and herbs to the marinade.

8. Add the cabbage inflorescences, mix everything gently so that the marinade covers the vegetables evenly. Cover and leave to cool.

9. Taste the cabbage, if it's marinated enough, drain the marinade carefully. If you wish, you can pour the finished snack with vegetable, or even better with sesame oil. Stir and refrigerate for a while before serving, it tastes better.
