If you are a culinary gourmet and love different flavor combinations of fruits, cheese and fresh herbs, then be sure to try the pear salad. Dor Blue cheese with a blue mold is ideal for him, but in the absence of such a product in the kitchen, you can also use ordinary hard cheese, for example, "Holland" or "Russian".

From greens, use any kind of lettuce, young arugula leaves, spinach as the base of the dish. Pear salad is not nutritious, so it cannot be a main course for breakfast, lunch or dinner, use it for a snack or serve on a romantic tete-a-tete with a glass of chilled white wine.

Ingredients:

Pears - 5 pcs.

Arugula - 1 bunch

Hard cheese - 100 g

Pumpkin seeds - 20 g

Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

1. Prepare the food you need. Use small, aromatic pears with sweet flesh and firm skin that retain their shape well after slicing. If the fruits are large, then use 2-3 pieces.

2. Rinse the arugula, cut off the dense parts of the stem, leaving juicy greens. Shake off excess moisture and place on a plate in a fan or circle. If the leaves are too large, pick them into a plate with your hands.

3. Rinse the pears in water, blot with a paper towel, cut into quarters and cut the seeds out of them, and chop the flesh into slices. Place on a plate in a random fashion.

4. Cut the hard cheese of your choice into cubes or triangles, add on a plate to the rest of the slices in any order. By the way, you can even use Brie cheese, mozzarella, suluguni, etc.

5. Put mayonnaise of any fat content, for example "Provencal", distributing the drops of sauce randomly over the slices in a plate or on a platter. If you are on a diet or a healthy lifestyle, then replace mayonnaise with extra virgin olive oil or unrefined vegetable oil.

6. Salt and pepper the salad, if the fruit is too sweet, then lightly sprinkle with lemon juice: freshly squeezed or diluted concentrated. Pour some pumpkin seeds on top, which can be replaced with any nuts: peanuts, hazelnuts, walnuts.

7. Serve the dish to the table immediately after cooking so that the pear slices do not have time to darken and the cheese does not weather. Garnish the pear and arugula salad with fresh parsley or dill to your liking.
