If you are going to serve a delicious lunch or dinner and wondering what to cook, it is best to opt for potatoes and chicken in a bag in the oven. The dish will turn out to be juicy, aromatic, the potatoes will absorb the fat secreted by the chicken and become crumbly.

To emphasize and enhance the taste of the dish, it is recommended to add, in addition to the usual classic spices, a little ground paprika - it is ideal for both potatoes and chicken. But garlic does not need to be added either fresh or dried - when baked, it will start to taste bitter and lose its piquant aroma. Such a product is only relevant when served, just like fresh herbs or grain mustard. Coating the ingredients with ketchup or mayonnaise is also a bad option, as the sauce will burn and char, so only spices!

Ingredients:

Medium potatoes - 5 pcs.

Chicken - 450 g

Ground paprika - 1 tsp

Salt and pepper to taste

Garlic to taste

Preparation:

1. Rinse potato tubers thoroughly in water, removing dust and dirt with the hard side of the sponge. Put on a dish or in a deep container. Cut the chicken pieces into portioned pieces equal in size to the tubers. For a more appetizing dish, choose poultry meat with fat. You can use both drumsticks and legs, wings, back with tail, etc. Sprinkle with salt, ground black pepper and paprika. If the last product is smoked, then the taste of the cooked dish will only benefit from this. Gently mix everything together so that both the potatoes and chicken parts are enveloped in spices. Leave on for 10-15 minutes.

2. Then put everything in a baking bag, tie both sides of it, leaving no holes for steam to escape. You don't need to add water or broth to the bag. Place in a mold or on a baking sheet. Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for about 35-40 minutes until golden brown. If desired, you can hold it for 30 minutes, then cut the bag and bake the dish until golden brown.

3. After the specified time, remove the bag with the contents from the oven and cut it carefully, being careful not to burn yourself with the steam. Peel a couple of garlic cloves and compress them into a bag. Stir gently to add a garlic flavor to the hot dish.

Put the baked potatoes with chicken on plates, serve with fresh vegetables, herbs, various sauces: ketchup, Aioli, mayonnaise, etc.
