Want to delight your family with a delicious Asian-style dinner? Make curry rice and don't be intimidated by the name - it's very simple and fast enough. Today curry paste is sold in almost every supermarket, in the section with Asian products - sauces, noodles and cereals, and it costs just a penny. The finished dish turns out to be very rich, satisfying and incredibly aromatic.
Ingredients:
Round rice - 160 g
Chicken fillet - 1 pc.
Curry paste - 50 g
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Garlic - 1 clove
Hot pepper - to taste
Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
Parsley - 5 branches
Salt to taste
Ch.m. pepper - taste
Preparation:
1. Prepare foods from the list. Wash the vegetables, dry, peel the onion.
2. Rinse the rice to clean water and transfer to a saucepan / stewpan. Pour water 2 centimeters above the cereal, add a little salt and cook under a lid over low heat for 15 minutes, until tender.
3. Heat refined odorless vegetable oil in a frying pan, put onion sliced into half rings, fry for 2-3 minutes over medium heat until soft.
4. Chop hot chili peppers, crush a clove of garlic with the back of a knife, add to the pan, cook for a minute or two.
5. Cut the chicken fillet into thin slices, send to vegetables. Fry for 3-4 minutes, until it turns white.
6. After a while, add the curry paste, pour in a glass of water, cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Taste it, add salt and pepper if necessary.
7. When you are satisfied with the taste and texture of the finished curry, catch and discard the garlic. Finely chop fresh herbs, add to the pan. If cilantro is available, it will generally have an incredibly ready-made dish, but if not, then parsley will do.
8. During this time, rice should have been cooked. Loosen it with a fork and place with a serving ring in the middle of a deep plate.
9. Place the prepared curry around the rice.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve. Moderately spicy, very tasty and aromatic!
