Stroganoff or beef stroganoff meat is originally prepared exclusively from beef. But a successful and beloved recipe has long been adapted for poultry, rabbit, pork and even offal.

Delicate sour cream gravy in beef stroganoff impregnates with delicious steam and softens meat of any hardness. And if it takes much more time for beef pulp, then juicy pork shoulder, ham or other loins languish for a maximum of half an hour.

Ingredients:

Pork - 600 g

Onions - 1 pc.

Sour cream - 150 g

Flour - 30 g

Vegetable oil - 30 ml

Greens - 20 g

Salt, black pepper, bay leaf - to taste

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - To make pork beef stroganoff at home, take the foods listed. For those who decide to experiment with chicken, turkey or liver, the crux of the matter does not change. Swap the pork you want for another meat product and follow the step-by-step recipe.

Step 2 - Cut the clean meat into long bars of approximately the same thickness. For this dish, it is customary to cut not into cubes / plates, but precisely into bars. We chop the onion (one large or two small) with thin half rings or rings.

Step 3 - Breaded the cold cuts. It is convenient to place the meat in a bag, add wheat flour and, pulling the edges of the polyethylene, shake it. Thus, each piece is evenly and thinly, without lumps, covered with a flour layer. Excess flour remains at the bottom of the package.

Step 4 - Preparatory work is completed, move on to frying and stewing over the fire. First, fry the onion in a hot pan with the addition of vegetable oil. For light caramelization, sprinkle with a pinch of salt - do not dry, do not burn, soften at moderate temperature and bring to transparency.

Step 5 - Next, load the pork powdered with flour, mix and continue frying for 3-4 minutes.

Step 6 - Add sour cream to the slightly browned meat with onions, pour in about 100 ml of boiling water.

Step 7 - Salt, stir, add black peppercorns and bay leaves. Boil, reduce heat and simmer until the gravy thickens and the pork pieces are soft (about 25-30 minutes).

Step 8 - Remove the dish from the stove, sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs.

Step 9 - Serve a delicate sauce - pork stroganoff with sour cream - with any side dish, fresh vegetables or pickles.
