Something warm and soulful lurks in homemade baked goods, especially when it comes to bread. When the aroma of freshly baked bread is heard in the house, it is a holiday for me and my family. It is not possible to cook it often, but when it does happen, I treat this process very scrupulously. Today I want to share one of my favorite recipes for bread mixed with whey. The result is a small loaf, but how tasty it is... I recommend!

Ingredients:

Serum - 125 ml.

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Salt - 1/3 tsp

Sugar - 1 tablespoon

Butter - 15 g.

Dry yeast - 1 tsp

Wheat flour, premium grade - 300 g.

To make homemade whey bread, prepare the ingredients according to the recipe list. Sift the premium wheat flour through a fine sieve several times. Heat the whey until warm, and melt the butter beforehand so that it has time to cool. The chicken egg should be at room temperature.

Once all the ingredients are ready, we can begin kneading the dough.

Pour whey, yeast and sugar into a suitable bowl. Stir and leave for 15 minutes.

During this time, the yeast should seem to dissolve, forming foamy areas on the surface of the liquid (as in the photo).

Pour the prepared butter into the dough and beat in the chicken egg. To stir thoroughly.

Pour the sifted flour in portions.

Stir the flour mixture with a whisk after each new serving, stirring as long as possible.

Then transfer it to the table and knead a soft, elastic dough with your hands. Form a bun from it and leave it warm for 1 hour, covered with a towel.

Over time, the dough will significantly increase in volume.

Crumple it and form an oval blank. Put it in a parchment-lined form and leave it for another 30 minutes, remembering to cover with a napkin or towel so that the dough does not dry out.

When the dough "rested", send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees.

Bake the bread for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. Carefully remove the finished loaf from the hot mold and place on the wire rack, leave in this form until it cools completely.

Soft, fluffy and delicious whey bread can be served.

This bread will add its taste to any first course. And if you spread a slice of bread with honey or jam, yes, serve with a cup tea or milk - you get a real dessert. Cook with love!
