Root celery is one of the most useful plants that must be eaten, and preferably as often as possible. In addition to all the benefits it contains, it strengthens the immune system and takes care of our cardiovascular system. This is the number one product that nutritionists recommend for weight loss diets, as it normalizes the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. The salad that we will prepare today is tasty and healthy, it can be prepared all year round. But it is especially relevant now, in the root celery season, when it costs a penny.
Ingredients:
Celery root - 300 g
Carrots - 200 g
Hard cheese - 200 g
Sour cream - 40 g
How to cook:
Let's prepare products according to our list for making celery root salad with cheese. Peel, wash, dry the carrots.
Wash and dry the celery root too, cut off the peel along with all the fibrous part. Cut in half for easier chopping.
Cut the celery into strips or grate on any convenient grater. My favorite is the Korean carrot grater.
Chop the carrots in the same way, with the same straws on the same grater or with a knife by hand.
If the quality and density of hard cheese allows, then it can also be grated with straws. This will make the salad look good ready-made.
Place all ingredients in a deep bowl and season with good quality, low fat sour cream. Then everything is up to your taste. Someone prefers to add a little brown sugar or liquid honey to this salad, someone loves - a pinch of sea salt and ground black pepper, and someone - a little soy sauce.
Stir the salad gently and let it brew for a couple of minutes. The carrots and celery will juice and make the dish juicy.
Divide the prepared salad into portions and serve. It turns out delicious, juicy and quite satisfying, due to the presence of hard cheese and sour cream in it.
