I will cook dried apricot and prune compote. This combination of dried fruits, in my opinion, is very successful. The drink is delicious, rich and very aromatic. I recommend giving it a try. Ingredients:

Water - 500 ml.

Prunes - 50 g.

Dried apricots - 50 g.

Cinnamon stick - 1 pc.

Sugar - 1.5 tablespoons

Let's prepare the necessary set of ingredients.

Thoroughly rinse dried apricots and prunes under running water, washing away dust and other impurities from them. Throw the dried fruit in a colander to drain the excess liquid.

Then put them in a cooking container, fill with clean water and bring to a boil. For taste and aroma, add sugar and a cinnamon stick to the saucepan. The amount of sweetener can be adjusted based on your taste preferences.

Instead of sugar, you can use honey. Only this product should not be added to a boiling liquid, a high temperature will kill its beneficial properties. It is added just before drinking when the drink has cooled to room temperature.

After boiling again, reduce the heat and cook the compote for 10 minutes. Then turn off the heating, cover the pan with a lid and let it brew and cool.

A very tasty, aromatic and quite healthy compote from dried apricots and prunes is ready. It can be drained by removing the dried fruit, or left in its original form by pouring it into a beautiful jug.
