The cottage cheese and strawberry pie is the perfect pastry for the strawberry season. Despite the large number of processes, it is very simple to prepare it, it turns out absolutely always and for everyone.

First, the shortbread dough is kneaded, which acts as the base of the cake. Curd together with sour cream are interrupted into a homogeneous curd mixture, which will be the filling. Strawberries are a bright, juicy addition with a pronounced taste; they are placed in the curd mass before baking.

For the test:

Butter - 75 gr.

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Sugar - 2 tablespoons

Baking powder - 0.5 tsp

Flour - 200 gr.

For filling:

Cottage cheese - 250 gr.

Sugar - 3 tablespoons

Thick sour cream - 2 tablespoons

Potato starch - 1.5 tbsp

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Strawberries - 200 gr.

How to cook:

Prepare food. Remove the oil from the refrigerator beforehand. It should become soft and pliable without melting to a liquid state.

Place the butter in a deep container, add granulated sugar to it.

Grind the components for several minutes. Then beat in an egg, mix it with the main composition.

Sift the flour through a sieve, mix it in small portions into the soft mass. Add baking powder at the same time.

When all the flour has been added, the dough can be kneaded by hand. It should be soft, while not sticking to the palms.

Wrap the dough with foil, load in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

In the meantime, start making the curd filling. Place granular cottage cheese in a blender bowl, add sour cream, add sugar and starch.

Blend all ingredients with a blender until smooth.

Sort out the strawberries, sifting out spoiled or crumpled berries, wash well in water, remove the sepals.

Next, place the strawberries on top in a random order. Load the workpiece into a heated oven. Cook the pie for about 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
