Stuffed squash is not just a very tasty, juicy and satisfying dish, it is also very beautiful in appearance. This hot meal will delight everyone at home for lunch or dinner, but most of all, in my opinion, it is suitable for any family celebration. Serve your guests baked squash with filling and most of them will ask you for a recipe. They are prepared very simply, which is especially valuable for me, and everyone, without exception, likes the result. Delicate and juicy squash barrels with minced meat and vegetables - what could be tastier?
Ingredients:
Medium squash - 3 pcs.
Minced meat - 400 g
Onions - 50 g
Carrots - 40 g
Champignons - 3 pcs.
Bulgarian red pepper - 40 g
Salt to taste
Ch.m. pepper - taste
Hard cheese (optional) - 50 g
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
Preparation:
1. Prepare foods from the list. Buy patissons for baking young, with juicy walls and soft seeds. Wash the vegetables under running water, pat dry with paper towels, peel the onions and carrots.
2. Heat refined odorless vegetable oil in a frying pan, put onion chopped into small cubes, fry for a couple of minutes until soft. When it becomes transparent and sweet, add the carrots grated on a coarse grater, cook them together for 3 minutes.
3. Clean the mushrooms with a hard kitchen sponge, cut into small cubes, add to the pan, stir.
4. Bulgarian pepper (preferably red or orange, so the finished dish will look more beautiful), remove the seeds and stalks, cut into small cubes, add to the pan. Turn the fire on the stove a little quieter, extinguish everything until fully cooked. Transfer the sautéed vegetables to a comfortable deep bowl and cool.
5. When the vegetables are completely cool, stir in the minced meat, salt the filling and pepper.
6. Cut off the top with a tail from the squash, scoop out the seeds with a spoon with a sharp nose - you can throw them away.
7. Stuff the squash tightly with the previously prepared minced meat filling with vegetables.
8. Line a baking dish with foil with the glossy side up, line the filled kegs. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, put the stuffed vegetables in it and bake in the top and bottom heating mode for 30-40 minutes.
9. After a while, if desired, the casks can be sprinkled with grated cheese and put in the oven for another 10 minutes. This, of course, will make the dish much more satisfying, but also much tastier - it's up to you.
Ready squash stuffed with minced meat and vegetables can be served as a hot appetizer or as an independent dish.
