With the purchase of a double boiler, more healthy dishes began to appear in our family. Today I want to share the recipe of one of my favorites with you. Steamed cutlets are prepared very simply, and most importantly, quickly, as soon as you stock up on the right products.

It is best to choose chicken or turkey meat as a basis, namely, their fillet, because it contains the least fat and is excellent for proper nutrition. To make the cutlets more juicy, I add semolina, onions and chopped greens to the minced meat. As for the spices, it's up to you to decide here, use those that you like best to taste.

Ingredients:

Chicken fillet - 1 kg

Bulb onion - 1 pc.

Salt, black pepper - to taste

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Semolina - 2 tablespoons

Dill - 3 branches

Garlic - 2 cloves

To cook chicken cutlets in a double boiler, prepare the products according to the list for the recipe. Instead of dill, you can choose any other greens that are closer to your taste.

Wash the chicken fillet thoroughly under running water. Then dry with kitchen napkins and cut into small pieces. Let's clean the vegetables.

Using a meat grinder, turn meat, onions and garlic into a homogeneous minced meat.

Add chopped dill, salt, black pepper and a raw chicken egg to a bowl of minced meat. And then - semolina, it will give our future cutlets splendor and will not allow them to be dry.

Mix thoroughly so that the spices are evenly distributed. Then, for the viscosity of the minced meat, beat it against the bottom of the bowl. We will repeat the procedure at least 7-10 times.

With palms dipped in cold water, form oval cutlets. Grease the pan of the steamer with a thin layer of vegetable oil and lay out the blanks, keeping a certain distance between them.

From the specified amount of ingredients, I got 12 medium-sized cutlets. Put a lid on the steamer and turn on the timer.

Our steam cutlets will be ready in 30-35 minutes. They must be removed very carefully so as not to burn yourself.

That's all. Delicious, tender cutlets made from steamed minced chicken are ready. We will serve them hot on the table.

As a side dish, this dish is perfect boiled rice or just fresh herbs with vegetables.
