Lazy stuffed cabbage rolls - a delicious, well-fed dinner for the whole family! 30 minutes and you are enjoying the darlings.

I really love stuffed cabbage, but I don't like to mess with them. As a child, my mother often made just such lazy cabbage rolls, I loved them very much. I decided to share with you my mother's recipe for making the most lazy and delicious cabbage rolls!

Cabbage rolls are cooked in a pan, no oven. I think many will appreciate this recipe!

For cooking you will need:

White cabbage - 500 gr.

Boiled meat (any) - 300 gr.

Round grain rice - 4 tbsp.

Onion - 1 pc.

Tomato paste - 1 tablespoon

Bay leaf - 1 pc.

Salt and pepper to taste.

Water.

Vegetable oil.

A step-by-step recipe for making lazy cabbage rolls:

1. Chop the cabbage, chop the onion into cubes, finely chop the meat or twist it through a meat grinder.

2. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the onions over medium heat for 3 minutes. Do not forget to interfere so that it does not burn.

Advice: if little children eat stuffed cabbage, then you do not need to fry the onions, pour some water into the pan, so it will become soft.

3. Add cabbage and 150 ml. water. - mix. Simmer covered over medium heat for 5 minutes.

4. Salt, add tomato paste, bay leaf, pepper (optional) - mix. Simmer for another 3 minutes under the lid.

5. Spread the rice in an even layer on top of the cabbage - don't stir! Add enough water to cover the rice completely. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes over medium heat.

Advice: Rinse rice 2-3 times under running water.

6. On top of the rice, evenly distribute the meat and simmer under the lid until the rice is cooked.

I cooked for another 5 minutes.

Advice: if there is not enough water, then you can add a little.
