Greetings to all readers of my channel! My name is Christina and I am very glad to see you on my culinary channel.
The other day my husband came home and brought an unusual vegetable, I saw this for the first time. At first I thought it was some kind of radish or an unusual celery root.
The price for one vegetable was 50 rubles. The husband took two!
I didn't even remember what it was called. Oh, men are men 😂.
And now a second of humor (I want you to smile): 😊
At the market, a saleswoman addresses a passing woman:
- Lady, and I have a blouse, just for you.
- Is there a man for me?
The anecdote is taken from the site anekdoty.ru
I began to search the Internet and realized that it was "Kohlrabi" cabbage. I have never eaten this. We have a small town, but all my childhood I lived in a very small town and there we have only the usual "white" cabbage and "red" cabbage and that's it!
I cut off the peel, it is quite dense and the inside of the vegetable turned out to be a light color, and where the peel was a little greenish. One such cabbage weighs 450 grams.
I cut them into thin pieces and tried them. By the way, the vegetable itself is also dense inside.
What a juicy cabbage! Well, very juicy and has a sweetish, pleasant aftertaste. By the way, this vegetable does not have such an "active" cabbage smell.
My husband said it tasted like a radish. But, I would say that the taste is between radish and ordinary cabbage. As if they were crossed.
I read that they make a salad with her. Chopped. And how easily she shreds!
The salad is simply incomparable! I highly recommend trying this cabbage. For the New Year or what holiday I will now make a salad from Kohlrabi, if I find this vegetable in stores.
Write in the comments, have tried this cabbage, maybe you know what recipes?
