2. Pay attention to the "eyes" of the coconut. He has three of them :) "Eyes" should not be too dark and they should not have mold.
In general, I recommend paying attention to these 2 points.
How to open a coconut correctly? Let's figure it out.
We again look closely at the three "pits". Two of them will be the same - they are like eyes :) And one hole will be larger than the other two and resemble a "mouth". It is she who will be the softest and need to be pierced to drain the coconut water.
I take a regular knife and "pick" the crust with it a little.
Then I take a sushi stick and pierce the coconut pulp.
I turn the coconut over and pour the liquid into a glass, "shaking" the coconut slightly.
This coconut water is delicious, I usually just drink it.
Now you need to open the coconut! I take a small hammer and start not hitting hard in the center of the coconut around the entire circumference (you can see how in more detail in the video).
A crack begins to appear. The coconut pulp is very easy to remove. If you are having difficulty, pry the flesh of the coconut with a knife.
You can hit a little more with a hammer and then the pulp is easily separated.
