Recipe for apple cider vinegar
Ingredients:
- Apples - 0.8 kg
- Water - 1 liter
- Sugar (honey) - 100 g
- Pressed yeast - 10 g (dry or rye bread 0 - 20 g)
Cooking method:
Apples grate on a coarse grater, add water, sugar, yeast and leave for 10 days in an open jar at 20-30ºS with occasional stirring with a wooden spoon. Then strain, add honey or request more sugar at the rate of 50 grams per liter of juice and leave until the end of fermentation for 40-60 days in a warm place under the cloth (gauze).
Ready vinegar is filtered, stored in the refrigerator.
Use as a salad dressing or for other purposes.
