My dear readers, today I want to share with you my secret of how to store beans so that no bugs get in them. I have been using this method for many years and have never had any bugs in my beans.
The method has been tested by me for years. I learned this secret from my grandmother.
This storage method is suitable for white and red beans. The color of the beans doesn't matter.
This is the kind of beans we got this year. It is not very large, but tasty.
How many methods I tried, but still this is the best one.
Let's prepare several cloves of garlic at once. Do not clean it. Yes, exactly garlic! Do not be alarmed, the beans will not smell like garlic. By the way, I also have garlic from my garden.
I store beans in plastic bottles. It is very comfortable.
So what do we do. We fill the bottle with beans. I do this with a simple bottle funnel. Very comfortably! I take a handful of beans and pour it into the funnel. It turns out quickly.
For one and a half liter bottle, I take 4 cloves of garlic. I poured some beans into the bottle, then a clove of garlic, and so on.
When all the beans are poured into the bottle, then I always put a clove of garlic on top.
I tighten the lid tightly. I keep the beans in the kitchen cabinet. When necessary, I take it out, pour as much beans as I need and back into the closet.
Just a great way! What do you think? Waiting for your comments.
