For all lovers of cabbage, I suggest preparing this wonderful, simple, very quick, budget dish from ordinary cabbage. Well, it turns out very budgetary!

This recipe helps me a lot when there is no time to cook something serious, and when the finances are not very good. By the way, even those who don't like cabbage eat such a cabbage dish with great pleasure. Checked more than once.

So, for a cabbage dish we need:

300 gr. cabbage (half a small head of cabbage).
100 g flour.
240 gr. onions (1 large onion).
1 tsp baking powder (can be replaced with soda)
Spices and salt to taste.
2 tbsp vegetable oil in the dough + for frying.

Let's start cooking!

First of all, you need to chop the cabbage. I have already found a quick way a long time ago, I just grate the cabbage on a regular grater. An excellent result is obtained, and most importantly FAST. You can, of course, use a blender, if available.

Onions need to be finely chopped, or grated, or chopped in a blender. Choose any method.

I add flour, baking powder, black pepper, salt to cabbage and onions, and I will also take "Italian herbs" from the spices. I stir it.

* Instead of baking powder, you can take 0.5 tsp. soda (extinguish it with lemon juice or vinegar).

Now I add vegetable oil and mix again.

I put one tablespoon of dough on a frying pan preheated with oil, you can give any shape. I cook under a closed lid for 5 minutes on low heat. Then I turn it over and cook for another 2 minutes under the lid. I open the lid, another 2 minutes and it's done. Bon Appetit. These are, if you can call them that, cabbage pancakes are obtained.

They keep their shape perfectly. If you have sour cream at home, then it is very tasty to serve pancakes with it. Try it. How do you like the recipe? I've been cooking like this for 10 years!
