β If you like onions, then you will definitely like this dish. And those who do not like onions also eat this "yummy" and do not even suspect that there are a lot of onions here. It's simple - you practically don't feel the onion in the finished dish!
Cooking such an onion pie (let's call it that) in a pan is very quick and easy. It even tastes like cutlets. π
I discovered such a recipe from ordinary onions quite recently! Onions are the most important product here and most of all.

I cut 5 small onions into fairly large pieces.
I grind in a blender, but not to the state of porridge, so that each piece is visible.
* You can finely chop the onion, but this is a rather long process, I prefer to chop the onion in a blender.
I add an egg to the onion.
I also add cottage cheese. Cottage cheese can be replaced with any cheese. But, cottage cheese is cheaper, and it will be more useful. This is what I prefer and use.
Salt to taste and now you can add any of your favorite spices. I will add sweet paprika (I make it myself by the way) and a mixture of Caucasian herbs.

You can also add greens if desired. I have dill.
I add flour, mix. The mass should be quite thick and fall off the spoon with difficulty.
I heat up a frying pan with vegetable oil and spread the onion mass.
I distribute the dough evenly throughout the pan (by the way, I have a 24 cm pan) and cook under a closed lid over low heat for 10 minutes.
