Incredibly delicious herring in kefir and mustard sauce. But it is impossible to stop at one piece! Delicate, piquant, spicy-salty-sweet. Everyone who tried it asked for a recipe)) I'm sure everyone will like it!

The preparation is very simple. My herring, I clean and cut into pieces. How I do it, I showed in the video below. There is also a short summary of the whole process of preparing this snack.

The herring for this recipe needs salted. You can buy ready-made or pre-salt at home. It is advisable to choose fatter.

I cut the onion into half rings. I usually take 3 medium onions for 3 herrings. Making the sauce. To do this, I mix kefir with sugar and mustard. Any mustard. The amount of sugar can be adjusted. If you like it more spicy, add more mustard.

Now I put some onions on the bottom of the bowl, then the herring, pour the sauce. Again onions, herring, sauce. And another layer is exactly the same. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 12 hours.

All! Done! You can serve. Very tasty with potatoes))
