Choux pastry for dumplings (dough with boiling water). This is perfect! And tasty, and simple, and without unnecessary flour. The kitchen is always clean, and the dumplings are delicious and not overcooked! And plus, very tasty pasties are obtained from this dough!

So, let's prepare. Sift flour into a bowl. I measure out THREE glasses of flour (a glass of 250 ml). Exactly three. I tried to cook with flour from different manufacturers - it doesn't matter at all. It always works. This is the first plus.

I make a depression in the middle and drive in one egg, add 0.5 tsp. salt and 3 tbsp. vegetable oil. I stir a little with flour. It is more convenient to do this with a fork. Then I pour in a glass of boiling water (preferably not quite full - about 230 ml). It is boiling water! The water just boiled - right into the dough. And immediately you need to mix well and collect the dough into a lump. You can stir a little with a spoon (hot immediately), and then with your hands.

The dough turns out to be very pleasant, it does not stick to your hands. You don't need to knead it for a long time. No extra flour is needed. This is the second plus. I leave it under the towel for 10 minutes - that's enough. And you can sculpt dumplings (or pasties) without adding any additional flour.

The dough is delicious! This is the third plus. Does not fall apart, even after freezing. This is another plus. Sometimes I just freeze the dough. Then I defrost it on a shelf in the refrigerator - and you can make dumplings (the dough is just cooked). And another plus - from this dough I prepare brushwood and pasties. They are very tasty and beautiful!
