Sometimes reading comments cheers up))

I decided to write this article after this comment under my yesterday's video:

What MSG tastes like and how do I determine if it is in a product

Yesterday I posted a video where I cook chicken fillet with cheese and pickles in frying sheets.

I know how to make these sheets at home. And last year I shared this recipe (I'll leave a link at the end of the article). Then, in the comments, they wrote to me many times that there are ready-made sheets for frying...

I decided to try it. I bought it (after reading the composition). By the way, there are many different types of such sheets (with different composition of spices), but I did not find monosodium glutamate (or E621) in any of the packages. Of course, I do not exclude that the manufacturer simply did not add it to the composition. But how to check it... Personally, I cannot determine the taste)) Because this additive has no taste ...

In general, the frying sheet I'm talking about looks like this (there is some fat here, I also saw salt, I felt the aroma of spices and herbs):

Here is the composition from the package:

For our taste, by the way, there was not much salt (I would even add some salt). The spices are good. The only thing is that there are too many tomatoes (even some sourness is present). But in the end it turned out to be quite tasty, juicy, low-fat and the chicken looked very appetizing:

I am not encouraging anyone to buy these sheets!!! The article is not for this at all. I just want to understand where such comments come from?

I may be wrong (correct me if I'm wrong), but as far as I know, this supplement is only used where glutamate was originally in products. For example, when you defrost some meat products or some vegetables, or when they are soaked, some of the natural glutamic acid is lost. This means that the taste of the product becomes less "bright". And the additive E621 in such cases is used to "emphasize" the taste of glutamate where it already exists!

I'll tell you how I determine if a product contains monosodium glutamate. Very simple. I usually read the composition on the package)) That's the only way. How to define it differently? If you know other options, please share.

Do you know what the harm is from this supplement? What organ can become "bad" from it? Write in the comments.

By the way, here is the comment under the same video of mine:

The next day Vali's pancreas became inflamed after such preparation... But after all, if there are problems with the gastrointestinal tract, fried is impossible, like. It's definitely not the sheets that are to blame (and not glutamate, most likely), but the way the dish is prepared. Or am I wrong...

Lyudmila writes that sheets with a flavor enhancer, solid chemistry... But where? Also "solid"... She made a conclusion without even looking at the composition.

Is it out of dislike for a particular brand? Or because some serious uncle said on TV that there was "solid chemistry"... Honestly, I don't understand those who write such comments. And 35 people, by the way, supported Lyudmila!

And this one:

I don't want to offend anyone! I respect any opinion! But where do such comments come from?

Monosodium glutamate flavor... And what is his taste after all 😀?

As promised, here I showed how I prepare frying sheets with my favorite spices (and 6 more interesting recipes for making chicken fillet):

And here is a video where I cook in purchase sheets (who are interested):
