We love rice and I cook it differently. Today is another version of your favorite side dish.
I'm surprised, but few people know this method. If you haven't tried it, I recommend it. Delicious and simple! All you need is a frying pan or stewpan. The set of products is minimal!
Finely chop the onion. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
I add a teaspoon of red sweet paprika and some ground chili to the onion. The pungency, of course, is best adjusted to your liking.
Here - tomato paste. If the pasta is too acidic, add a little sugar. I'm mixing it all up.
I washed and dried the rice well in advance. Here I have a glass of rice.
I send it to a saucepan, mix everything well again and fry for 2-3 minutes.
I dilute salt in a glass of water and pour water into a saucepan. Cover with a lid, reduce heat to low and cook for 16-18 minutes.
Then I turn off the fire, stir the rice and let it brew for 10 minutes.
This rice can be served both as a side dish and as an independent dish. It turns out to be very fragrant, slightly spicy, with a slight pleasant sourness.
With this method of cooking, the rice is crumbly and delicious! You can fry a little minced meat together with onions - it will be even tastier))
