I cook such a dish mainly for the holidays, most often for the New Year's table, which is why we call it "New Year's". Very beautiful and deliciously delicious! Great side dish! For lovers of rice with vegetables - what you need!
I wash the rice well and fill it with boiling water. Cover with a plate and leave for 15 minutes.
I chop the onion and fry it in vegetable oil. When a little gilded, I add vegetables (usually frozen). I took a mixture of vegetables (corn, green beans, carrots, bell peppers and green peas), but, of course, you can take any vegetables.
Fry for a few minutes, then salt and add curry. If you don't like it, you can add any favorite spices. I fry with seasoning for another 5 minutes.
You can cook in one form. But I usually cook in portions - in pots or small ceramic tins.
I put some rice on the bottom of each mold.
Then some vegetables.
Then again fig. And again vegetables. I fill it with boiling water.
Cover with foil and put in the oven. I cook at 200 degrees for 15 minutes. Then I add some more water and cook for another 15 minutes.
Serve like this, in pots. It's very, very tasty!
The rice turns out to be bright, aromatic, crumbly and very tasty!
In the video below, I cook this rice at 08:13. There are also 4 lean dishes for the festive table (salad, main course, appetizer and dessert). Take a look - you'll love it!
