Simple and delicious pie dough. I don't know why, but very few people cook it. But in vain! Both pies and tortillas from such dough are very tasty!

I boil the potatoes in salted water. But, of course, you can use ready-made mashed potatoes for the dough.

Knead potatoes in a bowl, add a little vegetable oil (I like olive oil), salt and flour with baking powder.

I knead the dough. I add flour gradually. The dough is soft and manageable.

The dough can be used right away, but I usually leave it for 10 minutes to "rest".

I shape the pies. I have it with mushrooms today, but the filling can be, of course, any. And sometimes I cook without filling at all - just flat cakes.

The patties can be fried in a greased skillet. Fry on both sides over low heat under the lid until golden brown.

But you can also bake in the oven. I put it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Very tasty and satisfying pies are obtained that can be cooked even during fasting. I also bake tortillas from this dough in the oven and serve them instead of bread. Try it. Very tasty!
