Pickle in a slow cooker: even the well-fed ask for an additive

We love this soup! And I always cook it that way!

I pour a little oil into the multicooker bowl and fry the onions and carrots on the "Fry" program. Then I send the meat to the vegetables.

You can take any meat. Tasty with pork, beef and chicken. Sometimes I even add two types of meat. You can add smoked meats - it also turns out delicious.

Salt and fry the meat with vegetables for about 5 minutes.

Then I dilute a tablespoon of tomato paste in 200ml of cucumber pickle. And pour in to vegetables and meat. I also send cucumbers cut into small cubes here.

I always add tomato paste - we really like it that way. If you think that it is superfluous here, you do not need to add it.

Carcass meat with vegetables for another 7-8 minutes.

Then I send diced potatoes and pearl barley to the multicooker bowl.

I rinse the groats well and fill them with water for about 2-3 hours.

I pour boiling water into the multicooker and close the lid. I turn on the "Soup" program. I install 45 minutes.

It remains to wait a bit. And that's it! The pickle is ready. You can serve!

Sprinkle with fresh herbs. Can be served with sour cream.

• Meat (any) - 300 g
• Onion - 1 pc.
• Carrots - 1 pc.
• Pearl barley - 100 g
• Water -2l
• Pickled cucumbers - 2-3 pcs.
• Potatoes - 2-3 pcs.
• Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
• Cucumber pickle - 200 ml
• Tomato paste - 1 tbsp.
• Salt
