Sometimes I just cook it for tea. I really like the combination of poppy and spice. Delicious pastries and nothing complicated!
In the video below, this recipe is at 09:43. There is also our family recipe for cakes (at the rate of 3 pcs. weighing 470 g) and a delicious recipe without yeast (cakes on yogurt). Look - you will definitely like it))
Pour yeast with warm milk and stir until the yeast is completely dissolved. I add sugar, vanillin, salt and melted butter.
I mix and add the sifted flour in parts. I don't add all the flour at once. The dough should be sticky like this:
Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 40 minutes.
Then I add more flour and knead the dough. So that the dough does not take a lot of flour, I moisten my hands with vegetable oil.
The dough is soft, like living. I collect it in a ball and put it on the board. Cover with a towel and leave for another 15 minutes.
I steam the poppy with boiling water.
The dough is ready. I roll it out with a rolling pin, not too thin. And I distribute the prepared poppy. Then some sugar (I use brown) and spices. I have a coriander-clove-cardamom-vanilla mixture. But you can take exactly what you like.
I roll the dough into a roll.
I spread it on a baking sheet and connect the edges. Then I make cuts with scissors.
I put the dough in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
The code turns brown - I take it out and decorate it.
