Sour cream, yoghurts, fermented baked milk... I buy a lot of things in plastic packaging, but I didn't even imagine that I would now look under the caps when buying.
Yesterday we once again stopped at the Agrocomplex on the way home. There are certain products that I often buy there. We like dairy products there, especially yogurt. Like this:
Usually we take "with a margin", several glasses at once, because the store is not very conveniently located - far from home.
Usually, in these stores I pay attention only to prices (and even not always to them). There have never been problems with either the shelf life or the quality of the products. But this time for some reason I looked at the deadline. I didn't see anything special, as usual, everything turned out to be in order (you can store it for another 12 days). Therefore, we took 5 cups at once, not really looking closely at the packaging.
At home they immediately decided to have a bite to eat. My husband opened a glass for himself and handed it to me.
I removed the cap.
"Why didn't this glass suit you?" - I ask.
He looked at me in surprise. Then to my glass. Inside was plain yogurt. But the glass was incomplete (about 1/3 was not enough in the glass).
The glass was open. They opened it slightly, drank it off / poured it (I don't know what they did), and then just neatly covered it with a lid on top - and onto the counter.
Yes, you could notice that something was wrong. Lid on the side with a crack. And by weight it is felt that the glass is incomplete. But we did not immediately notice. And they didn't even think that it was necessary to pay attention to this!
Here's what to do in this case? Call the hotline number on the package? And who will believe me that it was not me who opened this lid myself...
Come to the store and return the product? This is also a question. I bought it, and it is open... Who will confirm? And I never returned anything. We do not even return expired products. We just throw it away. It's your own fault - you need to look at the place))
We didn't eat this yogurt, of course. I opened another glass. This is not the problem. The problem is that I now look under each cap (already at the checkout, of course).
In the evening yesterday I chose sour cream 5 minutes longer than usual... Here's how to get rid of it now?
Write in the comments, has this happened to you? And if so, how did you solve the issue?
