We don't use mayonnaise very often, but still sometimes it happens)) But I never buy mayonnaise in the store, I always prepare it myself. Today I will show you a recipe for a delicious mayonnaise in milk. A thick and delicious sauce is ready in a minute! In the video, in addition to this recipe, there are several more recipes and methods for making mayonnaise (with a mixer or a regular a whisk, lean mayonnaise and classic mayonnaise) + how to "fix" if the mayonnaise did not work out and remained liquid. Look - you will like it))
So, milk mayonnaise. I combine milk and vegetable oil in a narrow and high bowl (I use only refined oil, otherwise the mayonnaise will taste bitter!). if there is no such bowl, use a regular glass jar.
Beat with an immersion blender at maximum power for 30 seconds. It is with a submersible (!) Blender! I put it on the very bottom and turn it on. In other ways, I have not tried whipping such mayonnaise. I don't know if it will work out or not.
After 30 seconds add sugar, salt, mustard and lemon juice (or vinegar). And I beat for another 30 seconds.
Here's what happens:
The mayonnaise is very thick and delicious. Here I turned the spoon over))
I transfer it to a clean, dry jar. I cover with a clean lid. This mayonnaise (from homemade) is stored longer in the refrigerator - up to two weeks.
I like this mayonnaise not only in salads. I add it to baked goods and make snack cakes with it for the holidays. This is convenient, since the mayonnaise is very thick. Even a spoon is worth it)) Try it. Even just with bread is delicious. Not useful though.
I give my recipe. But the amount of salt, sugar, mustard and acid can be adjusted.
• Milk - 150 ml
• Vegetable oil - 300 ml
• Lemon juice - 3 tbsp. (or any 6% vinegar 2 tablespoons)
• Salt - 1/2 tsp.
• Sugar - 1 tsp.
• Mustard - 1 tsp.
