My 5 year old son loves them! And he came up with such a cute name for them)) We often cook dumplings on weekends. This is our "most family" dish. We only cook together and, of course, eat together.

First, I cook the minced meat. Any meat can be! We like "dumplings" with pork or turkey.

I rub the onion on the finest grater. I send the grated onion to the minced meat.

Add black pepper and salt to taste. Be sure to add some cold water to make the filling juicy. I knead well.

Now the dough. Recently, I have been cooking only custard. It is very pleasant to work with him and it turns out delicious!

I add an egg, salt and vegetable oil to the sifted flour. I stir with a fork.

The egg must be mixed with flour. Further - boiling water. It is boiling water (freshly boiled water). I pour in and mix first with a spoon, then with my hands (carefully! hot!).

The dough is soft, elastic and very "docile". Cut off a piece, cut and roll out thin cakes. I put the rest of the dough into a bag.
