I always cook lightly salted cucumbers according to this recipe. Very convenient - no need to weigh and measure anything! And the result is always amazing! Crispy and delicious cucumbers are obtained. I know there are many recipes. You can lightly salt in a bag or pour pickle over the cucumbers. But this method is more convenient (for me personally).
Here are the ingredients: cucumber, salt, dill, and garlic. I don't add anything else. No horseradish, no currant or cherry leaves, no bay leaf. This is how I like it the most.
Cucumbers are good for me. If they are not just torn off, I soak them in cold water for at least 2 hours. This can, of course, not be done. But this makes the cucumbers more crunchy.
For this recipe, I only use liter cans! I put a little dill and a little garlic on the bottom. Then cucumbers (how many will fit in the jar, I shift them with dill and garlic (about 4-5 cloves per jar).
Now the salt. I put it in a tablespoon. The spoon should be full, but without a slide - and I fall asleep in the jar. Always perfect cucumbers. Yes, I never cut "butts" on cucumbers.
All. I fill it with boiling water (boiling water!). only the water boiled - I pour it into the jar. I shake the jar a little, covering it with a lid so that the salt dissolves. I take off the lid and leave it on the table for a day. I put it in the refrigerator in a day.
