Breakfast is usually something quick, light and tasty. This is what attracted me to this recipe. The recipe was sent by my subscriber, for which we have been grateful to her for a month now)) I tried such sandwiches with different fruits - the tastiest of all with apricots and peaches.

In the video below, I showed you how to prepare such a breakfast. There is also a full lunch and dinner. Look - you will like it))

First you need to cut the bread. I have a loaf today, but of course any white bread will do.

I remove the bone from the nectarine. Fruit, as I said, you can take any. But it is desirable that they are juicy and sweet and sour.

Cut each half of the nectarine in half. This nectarine is enough for just two sandwiches.

I sprinkle one slice of bread with sugar. I spread fruit on it. And on top I cover with a second slice of bread.

I put the sandwiches in a preheated waffle iron and press well. If you don't have a waffle maker, you can use an electric grill, for example.

I press and cook for 2.5 - 3 minutes. This time is enough for me. But, of course, it all depends on the waffle iron.

This is delicious! And with tea, and with coffee, and with milk! It tastes like grandma's pie))

Bread - 4 slices
Sugar - 1 tsp
Nectarine - 1 pc.
