Recipe Apple pie with walnuts

Ingredients:

  • 2 square Puff dough ready to bake; unfreeze, as indicated on the packaging
  • 8 medium sized apples, peeled and cut into slices
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • ¼ cup sugar substitute or a substitute for granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp. l. flour
  • 1 tbsp. l. ground cinnamon
  • 1 h. l. melted butter
  • ½ h. l. ground nutmeg
  • A pinch of salt

Cooking method:

  • Preheat oven to 220 ° C. Roll out and place one of the dough sheets in the form of 21-23 cm diameter.
  • Gently mix the apple slices, sugar, nuts, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a large container.
  • Pour the resulting mixture into a mold.
    The second layer of dough cut into strips and put on apples in a lattice, the edges need to tightly blind. Coat the top of the cake with melted butter.
  • Bake the cake for 10 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 170 ° C and keep it in the oven for another 55-60 minutes or until the filling is bubbling, and the top is browned.
