Hello friends! Cheese bread sticks are on my menu today. I have baked them three times already, enough for half an hour. But if you manage to save even a little until the evening, then these aromatic sticks with a cheese flavor will perfectly suit both beer and wine.

First you need to make a dough (I made it the night before).

Stir 1 g of dry yeast in water (60 g) and add 45 g of premium wheat flour.

Stir everything until smooth and leave for half an hour.

Then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until next day.

PREPARING THE TEST

  • Dissolve 5 g of salt in water (60 g).
  • Make a well in the flour and add 30 g of olive oil.
  • Pour salt water here and add 10 g of sugar.
  • You can add 1 g of Provencal herbs or chopped herbs. Here is also 40 g of hard grated cheese.
  • Remove the dough from the refrigerator and add it to the flour too.

Knead the dough.

In this case, you just need to mix the ingredients well until smooth, you do not need to knead anything.

Lightly grease a bowl with butter and place the dough in it. Cover and leave for 30-40 minutes.

After 40 minutes, remove the dough, knead it and shape it into a rectangular shape. Leave it for another 40 minutes.

FORMING CHEESE STICKS

After 40 minutes, place the parchment on the baking sheet.

Turn the oven on 180 ° C with convection or 190 ° C without convection.

Take out the dough and headlight and roll it out about 1 cm thick.

They will be soft on the inside and crispy on top.

Using my experience, do a double portion at once, otherwise they will swear that there are very few chopsticks.

Divide the dough into strips. Then they need to be rounded a little with your fingers.

Move the sticks to the oven, baking time 10-15 minutes to the desired shade of ruddy.
