Not even one was left)) It's good that the recipe is simple. Sticks are very tasty and crispy. It can be used instead of bread, for a snack, and for tea. And you can experiment with tastes.
Watch a short video (less than a minute). I showed how I prepare this snack. The eldest son said that "these sticks are cooler than chips":
How to cook:
The dough is very simple. I add salt and oil to the sifted flour. I usually use olive oil (we like it better), but you can add any other vegetable oil.
I pour in hot water (70-80 degrees). And I knead the dough.
I put the dough in a bag and in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then I cut a piece and roll it out 3-4 mm thick.
I cut the dough into strips (about 1 cm each). And I twist every strip. Like this:
I spread it on a baking sheet. I am using a silicone mat. But you can use regular baking paper.
Lubricate with a brush with water and sprinkle with aromatic herbs.
Instead of herbs, you can use any spices, you can take chopped nuts, sesame seeds, sugar, cinnamon... Here you can experiment. We tried it in different ways. Always delicious))
I put the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
That's all! You can brew tea)) Try it - it's very tasty. And it's easy to prepare.
